We make our soy milk every 3 to 4 days. It costs us around 25 cents per litre. This can make a lot of difference to our monthly food bill since reconstituted milk is a dollar a litre and real cows milk is around 3 dollars a litre. Shop bought baked beanz are less than 50% beanz and the rest is water salt and whatever else goes in for flavouring.. they may only cost a dollar but I prefer real bacon or ham in mine along with a pat of butter some real tomato sauce and some onions.. I get 9 jars FULL of beanz with all the natural trimmings for 12 bucks.. cost more, get more, know what’s in them. We have started to bottle meals with meat an veg so jars of sweet an sour pork and apricot chicken and our favourite is curried beef. My next trial is for canned scrambled egg and bacon with cheese on top…
